What does a miracle look like today?

Today we want to share a real quick story from our base in India.  World Race N Squad was recently serving with our long term missionaries stationed at the Adventures Base and one Racer shared this incredible miracle: “In one of the villages after a service, we were praying over this precious woman who was completely blind in one eye. She had been totally blind in her right eye for many years and had just accepted it. After I prayed over her I notice she was rapidly blinking that eye and closing the other one. I had the translator ask how her eye was and she grinned at me and said she...

This World Race Team Snuck Condoms into a Strip Club

One of our World Race teams found themselves in the Red Light District of Pattaya, Thailand during a famous Thai celebration that involves a city-wide water fight. God moved in amazing ways and we thought we’d share this story with you. World Racer, Mary Koch titled her blog, I Snuck Condoms in a Strip Club and wrote: “The title of this blog may have caught you by surprise, made you blush, or made you skeptical about if it actually happened. How World Race: America Was Born

Last year, World Race Squad Mentor and friend of the Holy Spirit, Teresa McMillan, shared a dream the Lord put on her heart. She felt a strong stirring God wanted to bring revival in the United States, and she hoped to mobilize a group of World Racers to do ministry together around the country. We jumped on board with her idea and opened up the opportunity to World Race alumni. They crowdsourced a van, and a small, fearless group of world-changers set off in January of 2019 on a road trip to minister to the 50 states. This team has been humble, Spirit-led and courageous as they have lived...

At a Glance: Adventures in Missions is partnering with Church Planting organizations in Myanmar for the first time in January 2018. Myanmar’s church is on the rise, despite oppression. Myanmar is now open to outside influence for the first time in decades. Myanmar is an awe-inspiring land of 48 million people. From the jungles and mountains of the Kachin State, to the legendary temples of Bagan, there is no shortage of adventure, beautiful vistas, and delicious food. But more importantly, there are hearts that are softened to the Gospel, churches ready for planting, believers ready to be...

Want to live like a World Racer?

Want to live like a World Racer for a day? Answering emails at your desk, shopping at the mall, or sitting through your algebra class might not seem like the ideal setting to live like a World Racer. But what if it was? The World Race is about taking “ordinary” moments in your life and intentionally living them for the Lord. Racers do this all the time: Praying for people at the market becomes normal. Teaching English becomes an opportunity to share the Gospel. Stopping to talk to the man on the street is an opportunity to spread the hope of Jesus. You might not be in the bush of Africa,...
