I spent the first two decades of my Christian life afraid of disappointing God. I was trying to be a good servant and live a good life so God would be happy with me. During my own journey as a World Racer, God revealed how deeply He loves me, and that His desire is to actually partner with me in this life.
This changed everything for me!
I've spent the last nine years partnering with God through the World Race, to help others awaken to how much their Father loves them and the great adventure of living and loving like Jesus. I can't wait to see what God has in store for you on your World Race journey.
I thought I was a Christian, but when I was 19 my view of everything (Jesus, the Bible, Church, Christianity) came tumbling down. I found myself angry and confused as I questioned what I had been told all my life. Little did I know I was on the path to making my faith my own. I spent the next few years figuring out who God was and what I believed. By the time I was 21, I decided Jesus was the answer. Since then, God has taken me from the slums of India to the mountains of Africa. He's transformed my heart, strengthened my faith, and given me purpose beyond myself. My story has given me a passion for the next generation because I know firsthand how influential those first few years out of high school are. I can't wait for you to join us on this journey!
I grew up in a Conservative Jewish household being taught about the God of Israel, and living out the traditions of the Jewish faith. I denied and rejected Jesus as Messiah throughout my childhood whenever the gospel was shared with me, and I was shocked at 17 when I had a radical encounter with Jesus, realizing He really is Messiah; still alive today, and Savior for all.
The next 4 years was an incredibly disorienting and defining time of life for me. I went to college, I found sin and numbness in places I never imagined I'd go to find such things, and I learned what conviction, repentance, and being a disciple of Jesus Christ really offered me -- new life. Real life.
My personal experiences and wrestle with faith during these developmental years has given me passion and perseverance to guide others through these transformative years as well. I can think of no better way to live my life than to be a disciple who makes disciples. I'm excited and honored to be a part of this faith journey with you!
