The Dominican Republic is a tropical Caribbean paradise. From the coastlines to the spectacular mountainous beauty, you will discover a collision of cultures on this island where European, African, and Caribbean peoples once converged. Its colonial history has marked it in many ways, from Spanish cathedrals and fortresses to the ethnically diverse people.
