I thought I was a Christian, but when I was 19 my view of everything (Jesus, the Bible, Church, Christianity) came tumbling down. I found myself angry and confused as I questioned what I had been told all my life. Little did I know I was on the path to making my faith my own. I spent the next few years figuring out who God was and what I believed. By the time I was 21, I decided Jesus was the answer. Since then, God has taken me from the slums of India to the mountains of Africa. He's transformed my heart, strengthened my faith, and given me purpose beyond myself. My story has given me a passion for the next generation because I know firsthand how influential those first few years out of high school are. I can't wait for you to join us on this journey!

Known as the Land of Eternal Spring, the weather in Guatemala is as warm as its hospitable people. You’ll spend your time near Antigua with our Adventures in Missions base team, including several local missionaries and World Race alumni!
Along the way, our base staff will teach and equip you with God’s word. You will also work alongside them to build relationships with the surrounding communities and show God’s love in tangible ways. As you jump into this established ministry and work alongside other missionaries you’ll find yourself playing soccer with local kids or teaching English in a local school. You’ll worship alongside other missionaries and use your gifts to glorify God with each day in Guatemala.
With coastlines on two oceans, world famous mountain views, and 11 official languages, South Africa is the southernmost country on the continent of Africa. Join our ministry partner, Global Leadership Academy in Jeffrey’s Bay, to reach this country still healing from its dark and painful history of racism and segregation.
From feeding programs to sports ministry, you’ll have many opportunities for youth and children’s ministry. You’ll work in the school system, teaching academic lessons and life skills, tutoring, or sharing the love of Jesus with students. You may even get a chance to share your gifts through music lessons! You can make the most of this beachside town by connecting with tourists and backpackers searching for more.
From the modern city of Siem Reap to the ancient temples of Angkor Wat, the Kingdom of Cambodia intrigues and inspires. Hitch a ride on a rickety tuk-tuk down dusty village roads and you might see houses built on stilts or crumbling Buddhist temples. Here, family is everything. Even after a devastating genocide wiped out a generation, the Cambodian people are rebuilding with a resilient outlook and a generous heart.
Join our Cambodia base team as they continue their ministry to local street kids and share the hope of the Gospel with families in surrounding villages. You’ll also get to help families create better futures for their children by teaching English and other life skills. Watch God use the strength of the family to rebuild this country as He continues to build your faith.

On this route, you'll have the opportunity to experience Thailand as well! This nation’s friendly people have earned Thailand its suitable nickname as the Land of Smiles. Here you will have the opportunity to reveal the truth of Jesus to a deeply unreached country, whether you are prayer-walking through the red-light district, ministering to tourists, playing with street kids or teaching English to local Thai people.
Squad is the term we use at the World Race to describe the 30-45 people traveling with you on your route this year!
