How Social Media and Missions Work Together?

We get really excited talking about stories because they are so powerful. Words are powerful. God created the world with words. And you can bring Kingdom here on earth by letting the Master Storyteller write your extraordinary life story – all you have to do is share it! In this rapidly growing digital age, it’s important that we protect both our participants and those who we serve in our storytelling. Our goal is to tell stories with both dignity and honor and that’s why our leadership team is committed to thorough social media training throughout your time serving with us. You will be...

[Video] Want to bring the peace?

We all go through hard stuff like heartbreak, disappointment, and uncertainty…but here’s the thing, when we put our faith in God, we can go through the pain and trials and still have peace and even joy. We can be ministers of reconciliation and bring peace wherever we go and in whatever we do because of the Holy Spirit. That kind of freedom – to be peaceful in all things – can’t be taken away. Do you hear the voice of God?

We’re really excited to share a story from the World Race about listening prayer. Maybe you’ve heard of listening prayer and maybe you haven’t. Just in case this term isn’t familiar, we wanted to get right to the heart of what it’s all about. Listening prayer happens when you make time and space to hear God speaking to your heart. It’s as simple as that. Even if it’s a faint, still small voice, God is speaking to you. The question is, will you listen? Now, let’s get back to that story we were telling you about … Alyssa heard God speak to her and got to be part of His plan in Istanbul! She...

Here is why we love discipleship

Discipleship is such a foundational part of the World Race, but here’s the thing, discipleship doesn’t just start and end in 3, 6, 9, or 11 months. Instead, it’s a journey that often begins on the World Race, and blooms over a lifetime. So what is discipleship? Discipleship is part of our call as Christians to point each other to Christ and to encourage and exhort one another. (Hebrews 10:24) It’s the beautiful and sometimes messy process of pointing people to Jesus and helping them to rely on the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Discipleship is an integral part of Kingdom life and the heartbeat of...
