Bio
Mariana is the president of Hope for Community Association and After-school Program. He has a vision to see, “A community transformed and able to solve problems affecting the standard of living using available resources.” He lives in Draganesti with his beautiful wife and three kids. Hope Church exists to impact people with the hope of Christ, basing their values on Scripture and preach the Word of God. Their strategy is to utilize people, projects, and partners to fulfill the goal of glorifying God, with the ministry of Christ as their model. They focus on five areas: discipleship, worship, evangelism, service, and fellowship.

South Asia is a nation diverse in language, culture, and religion, yet so many have never heard the Good News of Jesus. You’ll work alongside our partner, Bibles for the World, who shares the Gospel with many unreached communities in Manipur. Join the rapidly-growing movement of thousands of churches being planted across this vibrant nation.

Their mission is to be a catalyst for individual and cultural change through Christ and the power of His Word! This means sharing the Good News of God’s love in Christ Jesus by ministering to unreached peoples, to the Church, and to Christian leaders in developing nations, with a strong emphasis on South Asia.

They do this in partnership with donors and other ministry partners by:

• Strategically distributing Bibles, New Testaments, and other scripture portions
• Raising up godly, well educated children through affiliated schools both in South Asia and in Delhi
• Networking and encouraging Indian churches and national Christian leaders for greater effectiveness.

Begin your journey in Costa Rica, where misty volcanoes stand guard over bustling San Jose, home to our Adventures in Missions base. Serve with a variety of our ministry partners who are showing the radical love of Jesus to this city. Your team might teach dance or English, or share God’s Word with neighborhood kids. Or you might do community projects in slums devastated by gang violence and poverty. As you grow in your spiritual gifts through weekly teachings from our base staff, walk out your faith by showing this pura vida nation the true source of Life.

Our mission is to partner with kingdom-minded ministries, form well-established relationships with current ministries, and advance leadership skills through discipleship with squads or short-term teams who come stay with us. We focus on the power of Christ and how He wants to work in each of our lives each day and create a high emphasis on listening to His voice, creating a teachable environment, and prioritizing servant leadership.
