Southeast Asia holds more spiritual variety in a single region than almost anywhere on earth, and on this route you will cross three nations of it. You will begin in Thailand, the land of golden temples and the warmest smiles you will meet.
You will move into Cambodia, a young nation still healing, where a generation is rising with real openness to hope. You will finish in Indonesia, thousands of islands and the largest Muslim-majority population in the world. You will come home with a map of the world that is no longer abstract; it will have faces on it.
