Mexico

Your Race will kick off in southern Mexico. You could say the World Race got its start in Mexico, as this was one of the first countries we served in. We have not sent teams there in many years, so establishing new relationships there will be very exciting. Racers will work with church planters in Mexico working to deeply invest in their communities. Most people in Mexico believe in Jesus, but there is a strong fixation on religion, superstition and legends that can keep people from the freedom of Christ. Much of Central America has a dark history of gang violence and drug trafficking that has caused many people to leave their homes. You will also find a great deal of refugees here who have settled from other countries.
