Seth Barnes, Founder and CEO

Seth Barnes, Founder and CEO

Seth founded Adventures in Missions in 1989. In the years since, the organization has provided opportunities for more than 110,000 people to participate in mission trips all over the globe. Outside of his work as CEO, Seth is a speaker, author, and prolific blogger. His blog, Radical Living, can be found at www.sethbarnes.com. Seth and his wife, Karen, have five children and two grandchildren and live near Gainesville, Georgia.



Clint Bokelman, Worship and Discipleship Director

Clint Bokelman, Worship and Discipleship Director

Clint joined Adventures in Missions in 1997 after a trip to Tampico, Mexico with Adventures deepened his desire to help the lost. A lifelong Christian, Clint graduated from Grace University and served as a full-time youth minister in Omaha Nebraska before joining Adventures’ team. Clint and his wife, Amie, have three children and live near Gainesville, Georgia.



Bob Mudd, Director of Programs

Bob Mudd, Director of Programs

Bob has over 20 years of business and ministry management experience and has served in a number of executive roles, ranging from COO, CFO to CEO. Most recently, he was the CEO of Bourbon Brothers Holding Company and previously served as the COO of international orphan ministry, Children’s HopeChest. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Louisville. He and his wife, Julie, have six children and live near Gainesville, Georgia. They share a passion for caring for orphans and love to spend time outdoors with their family.



Steve Dupree, Director of Operations

Steve Dupree, Director of Operations

Steve has worked with Adventures in Missions as a member of the Board of Directors and coach of 2nd Generation K squad since participating in a mission trip to Matamoros in 1997. In April of 2015, he officially joined Adventures as Director of Operations. Steve began his career in Computer Systems Software, retired early after 30 years, and served as Executive Pastor at StoneBridge Church in The Woodlands, Texas before joining the Adventures team. Steve and his wife, Wanda, have been married for 40 years, have one daughter, and live near Gainesville, Georgia.



Bill Swan, Senior Manager of World Race

Bill Swan, Senior Manager of World Race

Bill has been a part of Adventures in Missions since 2009 when he and his wife, Katie, participated in their first World Race. They’ve since invited over 100 World Race alumni in their home with their two kids over the last six years. Bill is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and holds a Masters in Counseling from Trinity University. He is passionate about mission work and the call for Christians to make Christ known through their words and actions wherever they may be.



Courtney Knoff, Admissions Senior Manager

Courtney Knoff, Admissions Senior Manager

Courtney joined Adventures in Missions in 2015 after participating in the 2014 World Race. Courtney is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington and worked as an advertising account executive with TN Media before joining Adventures’ team. She’s committed to creating stellar experiences for applicants, enjoys travel and good food, and loves all things Minnesota (snow, lakes, cabin life, and Caribou coffee).



Deon Vanstaden, Coaches Manager

Deon Vanstaden, Coaches Manager

Deon was born and raised in South Africa. In 1999, he immigrated to the States with his wife and daughter. He pastored a church in Jacksonville, Florida for 12 years and was introduced to Adventures in Missions in 2009. Since 2012, Deon and his Rynette have coached five World Race Squads and joined Adventures full-time in 2014. Deon is passionate about discipleship and empowering the next generation, and is currently helping to train pastors and plant churches in India.



Rozy McCormick, Training Manager

Rozy McCormick, Training Manager

Rozy joined Adventures in 2009 after serving as a small group leader at 12Stone Church. Rozy and her husband Roger have coached several World Race squads over the last eight years. Today she works in E4 leadership and trains World Race coaches and squad mentors. When not working at Adventures in Missions, Rozy loves spending time with her three adult children and seven grandchildren in Gainesville, Georgia.



Hope Mendola, Gap Year and Semesters Manager

Hope Mendola, Gap Year and Semesters Manager

Hope has been part of the team at Adventures in Missions for six years. After graduating from The University of Toledo, Hope spent time in the slums of India, a life-changing experience that deepened her conviction to minister to the poor. She’s participated in the World Race, led trips, performed various staff roles, and currently manages Adventures’ college-age programs. Hope is convinced that passionate youth can change the world.
