I grew up in a Christian home with parents who know and love God. But as I became an adult, I ventured far from my faith. I spent several years pursuing selfish ambitions and wandering through life without real purpose or passion. But thankfully God goes after the one, and ultimately, in His kindness and love, He began to restore, redeem, and reawaken me to Himself. In the spring of 2008, after a couple years of authentically following Jesus, I stumbled upon the World Race. I was blown away by the opportunity to go on a journey with God, to see, experience, discover, and learn more about who God is and what my role in His Kingdom might be. Having never been on a mission trip, or ever left the country, I launched on the World Race in January 2009 and have never looked back. Over the last 10 years, my wife and I have dedicated our lives to leading, loving, and empowering Racers. We love watching them discover the deep love of the Father, the brilliance of Jesus, and the power and creativity of the Spirit. We also have four children we're raising to live a Kingdom way of life. We are thrilled and honored to go on a journey with you.

Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be a missionary. It was my dream to travel the world and tell people about Jesus. I loved the stories of adventure and exploration, while helping people along the way. Little did I know, the journey would unlock something so much deeper for me. In 2013, I launched on the World Race and everything started to change. I learned that I was so loved by the Father. He loved me, not because of what I could do for Him, but because of who I was, His beloved daughter. I began to see His deep love, not only for me, but also for His bride and His world. I saw that nothing could possibly make Him happier than having His kids back together with Him. This transformed me and I know that I will spend the rest of my life telling people about His extravagant love for them.

My name is Ashley if you ever forget, just think of the group of Ashleys from the cartoon, Recess. I am at the fine, ripe age of 29 and embracing every gray hair that comes with it. It's tangible proof of wisdom, I'm told. I'm a born bred Buckeye (O H I O) for those who aren't aware, but I like to call Gainesville home these past 2 years! I have found a love and obsession with my aeropress, long for volleyball Sunday's, am always searching for new music, secretly love to draw (not so much a secret), and am determined to someday figure out the rubix cube. Oh, and I like to pretend I am a pro parkourer.

Doug and Kris Christophel have been married for 28 years and live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Bridgewater, VA and have two children, Kayla (age 24) and Andrew (age 22). Doug has his own handyman business and has seen GodȦĨœs provision in this venture over the past 10 years. Kris works as a Clinical Billing Coordinator at James Madison University and is a Certified Professional Coder and Biller. While they each enjoy their professions, their true passions lie in the relationships they have with family and friends. They first heard of the World Race through Kayla, (3rd Generation B Squad), and coached the first All-Asia route with 3rd Generation H Squad this past year. Doug and Kris also have a passion for missions and seeing lives changed by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit! They have participated in and have also led short term trips, and have lived in Trinidad and Tobago while helping with a church plant in Children and Youth ministry. In their free time, they love playing racquetball and watching most sports, playing both table games and cards, and are pretty competitive in most activities they take part in. They love cats, of which they have two, and are entertained by them on a daily basis. The one thing they desire and love more than anything else, is knowing that they are continuing on their own journey of growing and learning more of what it means to run with a passion toward the heart of God and to become more like Jesus everyday.

Hey. My name is Austin. My father is a big Dallas Cowboys fan and wanted to name me Dallas, but my mom was definitely not naming her child Dallas(thanks mom!). Since Austin is a city in Texas, it was negotiated to be my name. I love the Fall and spring. They are my favorite times of the year, also the best times of the year to go for a run(or motorcycle ride), which I love as well. I also love ultimate frisbee, tennis, volleyball, football and other sports activities. Also I have no shame and fully comfortable in saying that I love Channing Tatum. He's a good looking man who can dance. Just sayin'
