Countries

Swaziland

The first half of your semester will take place in the small but incredible nation of Swaziland (its name was recently changed to eSwatini). Swaziland has the highest HIV/AIDS rate in the world, and as a result, thousands of children have been left without parents. We have had a long standing presence in Swaziland and have built a base there run by local and international staff. We partner with Children’s Hope Chest to operate a large system of care points serving local orphaned and underserved children. You will get the opportunity to serve at our base and care points to help empower a generation of strong and confident youth for Christ.

South Africa

Your second month will be spent in South Africa, a beautiful nation with incredible diversity, two oceans and 13 official languages. This month you will partner with the Global Leadership Academy. This ministry dares to establish an innovative learning environment with firm core values where young people can grow into leaders who will impact and serve their community. You will take part in their ministry by helping develop youth physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
