Countries

Thailand

Your semester in Southeast Asia will kick off in Thailand, known for its stunning beaches, friendly people and bustling outdoor food markets. In Thailand, Semesters Racers will have a lot of ministry opportunities including teaching English, ministering to children, visiting prisons and ministering in the red light districts. In Thailand, you'll also have the chance to bring joy to the lives of youth through organizing camps, seminars, and events and working alongside the local church. Our partner in Northern Thailand also has an organic farm that Racers will get to help support. This will be a jam-packed month full of wide-variety of opportunities to share God’s love.

Cambodia

The second half of your semester will continue on to Cambodia, where you will partner with the ministry New Hope for Orphans. This incredible ministry serves 400 orphaned children throughout Cambodia by housing them in family-style orphanages. You will be living at the orphanage and will take part in light construction, cleaning projects and relational ministry. You will also learn to share the Gospel with children through teaching English and leading Bible studies. You will be trained in evangelism and outreach and participate in prayer walks throughout the city with local pastors.
