World Race: Semesters - Fall 2019 Trip 1
FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENT $5,300 Wow! That’s a lot. How does fundraising work?
TRIP DATES 08/28/19 - 11/26/19
Countries Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama

Are you a good fit for the World Race?

You will have the opportunity to serve at REAP Granada - one of our favorite ministry locations! REAP Granada is devoted to some of the more economically challenged neighborhoods in Granada, Nicaragua. They believe in the value of building trust and relationship and live together with the locals to demonstrate God's love in real community. This strong and sustainable ministry model helps integrate faith into every aspect of life while strengthening families and developing employment skills. You will love working alongside this ministry.

Costa Rica

You’ll spend the month in the peaceful paradise of Costa Rica -- where you’ll quickly grow to love the slow, “Pura Vida” lifestyle. You may serve with Fundación Resplandecer and help with a wide variety of ministry opportunities like agriculture and construction. Or perhaps you’ll join evangelism efforts with the local church, teach English, lead vacation Bible schools and do outreach in slum neighborhoods. Or you may work with YWAM Puerto Viejo and visit schools in the community, distribute Bibles, serve in children's ministry or play soccer with the sports ministry!

During your last stop in Central America, you’ll work with YWAM - Youth with a Mission - in Chiriqui, Panama. From Bible distribution, to working with local schools, visiting orphanages, senior homes, and running a VBS, you will never be bored. YWAM runs an excellent ministry and ensures that you are well prepared to make an impact in the local outreaches you work with during your time in Panama.
