Today, our squad caught a small glimpse of the heart and vision of Adventures in Missions founder Seth Barnes. We sat at a local park, hanging in suspense as Seth shared the secret to a good story.

Each of us has our own story; we are the main character, and God is the Author. As we reflect on our own lives, we recognize that no good story is free from having conflicts and problems that arise. We are learning how to glean from those uncomfortable moments and brokenness that often offer us grit and growth, leaving us standing firm on our dependence on Him alone.
First thing this morning, we came together as a squad and reflected on who or what is center stage in our lives. Anything we put before our God is an idol. What does it look like to crush the idols and elevate God to His rightful place in our lives? We are asking ourselves this as we dig more into our identity in hopes of finding our purpose which will unlock our destiny.
Our team spent time today leaning into one of our core values: intentional connection. We took turns sharing our love languages and how we can love one another better. We understand that mission doesn’t come before community and loving the body of Christ; it should flow from it!
This evening, we were honored to serve New Hope Church and our loving ministry hosts, Pastor Dave and Kate. Our mentors, Chris & Dave Carlson, got to share their powerful testimonies of healing. Then, prayer was offered to anyone who wanted to encounter healing!

The Lord is moving here in Catania, and we are honored to get to come alongside those faithful workers here to further the Kingdom.
