Half asleep and the sun beaming, we walked to class. Upon arriving, we were thrilled to be greeted by the cold A/C, because we were very sweaty from our walk. We then had a great discussion with Mark Almand on what curiosity is, and we learned that curiosity leads to the calling God has for our lives.

Afterward, Jacob had us reflect on some questions about what we have learned from this trip and how we want to implement these areas into our lives when we get back home. It was good to have some space and time to see what the Lord has been teaching us here in Italy.

To finish off our class day, Levi taught us the importance of surrendered prayer and how to receive breakthroughs. Levi led the class in a deep dive into Philippians 4:4-9. He showed us the two ways we receive the God of peace. Firstly, praying continually, not worrying, and asking from a place of gratitude. Secondly, thinking upon things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy.

Levi gave us space to meditate on this scripture, and God gave us some revelation that we had never seen before about how God speaks to us. This was a pivotal leadership moment as Levi found confidence and unleashed his power to lead boldly. His heart for this trip from day 1 has always been to learn to lead and to return home equipped to do so in his community of family and friends. As a squad, we rallied with our brother today affirming his calling! We celebrated this win with team gelato.
