World Race Alumni: What They're Doing Now

Morgan Funke-

After going on the World Race in 2007, Morgan and her sister started Fill-A-Belly, an organization dedicated to feeding the homeless and building relationships with them. In 2016, she became the Executive Director of The Cause, a non-profit that supports other non-profits by providing critical administrative backing, leadership and financial coaching, and spiritual and emotional support. Currently, Morgan and her team are empowering 18 partners to make a difference all over the globe.

Jessi Green-

Jessi went on the World Race in 2010 and soon after met and married her husband. Together, they started Salt Churches, first in New York City and now in Huntington Beach, California. Their vision is to gather believers around Christ instead of buildings, freeing the church to grow and make disciplines. You can see the fruit as Salt Churches continue to expand, next in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa.

Chris Telfer-

Chris went on the World Race in 2007 before returning home to work for various non-profits. Eventually, he started Red Door Collaborative, a media company in Colorado Springs that helps brands tell their story well. One of his partnerships is with Adopt a Love Story, an organization dedicated to helping families overcome financial obstacles to adoption.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

-Matthew 28:19-20
