The Stretch Is Where the Growth Happens

On the Race, you’ll be asked to do things that might make you uncomfortable:
→ Share your testimony with a stranger.
→ Pray out loud in front of your team.
→ Sleep in places that don’t look like home.
→ Say yes even when your knees are shaking.

But in those moments, when you feel stretched thin or unsure, God shows up. He gently whispers, “I’m not asking for perfection. I’m asking for obedience.” And that’s where everything changes.

The World Race is where comfort zones go to die – on purpose.

From Surviving to Thriving

We’ve seen it again and again: Racers who arrive quiet and cautious eventually become bold and brave, not because they changed themselves, but because they let God do the stretching.

You won’t always feel “ready,” but you’ll be willing.
You won’t always feel equipped, but you’ll trust the One who is.
You won’t always be comfortable, but you’ll be growing.

And what once felt impossible: public speaking, leading a Bible study, living without Wi-Fi, becomes your new normal.

Your Calling Is Bigger Than Your Fear

God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.

On the Race, He will reveal giftings you didn’t know you had and call you into Kingdom roles that feel just a little too big. Why? Because He wants you to rely on Him. Because He knows your capacity is greater than your current comfort zone.

Maybe He’ll call you to lead a team.
Maybe He’ll ask you to speak truth over someone who’s never heard they’re loved.
Maybe He’ll use your story – the messy, in-progress one – to heal someone else.

You won’t be the same after this journey. And that’s the point.
